Seedpod Yoga

Jessica has made yoga “valid” to me–both as exercise and as recalibration. The hour is physically challenging and emotionally relaxing. I really appreciate how content-packed the time is–no wasted minutes or moves! –Lyndsey
I have never taken a yoga class before until Jessica invited me to participate in her class. I became hooked after the first class and have been coming weekly ever since. I look forward to coming to Jessica’s class every week to stretch, relax, breath, and rejuvenate. Jessica is a very calm and patient teacher who takes the time to make sure each class member is in right form. She tailors the class to meet the individual needs of each class members skills and limitations. My favorite part about her class is during the cool down when she plays her guitar and sings! –Lora
I really enjoy yoga with Jessica. She is great at creating an encouraging and welcoming environment. I never feel pressure to do more than my body will let me. I always come away from class feeling refreshed and healthy. –Bri

Jessica is a great yoga instructor. Especially for the beginner which I am. She is very positive and makes a person at ease in being comfortable with what you are doing and what your body can do. She is awesome! –Sari
Jessica is literally one of the best Yoga instructors ever! She invokes a calming spirit just by being in the room. I look forward to her class every Friday morning! I hate to miss it because just one session fills me to overflowing until the next week. I don’t know what I will do without her! She is amazing and will bless your life! Thank You Jess! –Heather
I’ve never done yoga before taking Jessica’s class. I really enjoy how she explains each specific move step by step and reminds me to breathe and use my core. I love how soothing the environment she created is. Every time I leave a class I feel better about myself, specifically my body. Jessica is an awesome yoga instructor!!!–Tracy

I’m Jessica.  Welcome to my online yoga space!  I hope there will be exciting things to share with you here as my yoga teaching journey progresses. To keep up with the most up to date happenings hop on over and “like” Seedpod Yoga’s Facebook page.

I started practicing yoga in 2001 while expecting my second child and fell in love with the practice, with my breath, and with the beauty and power inherent in my own body.  During a deep restorative pigeon pose led by a wise prenatal yoga teacher while carrying my youngest daughter I felt the call to become a yoga teacher myself and share the power of asana practice with others.  I received my 200 hour certification in Shambava Yoga from Shonshoni Yoga Retreat in Nederland, CO and am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance.  My classes are a marriage of Vinyasa Flow and traditional Hatha, giving students an intimate connection with their breath as they move, and to intelligent alignment that honors where they are in their bodies in the moment.  Pranayama (breath work) and meditation are included for a well rounded experience.  My greatest hope is that students leave my classes feeling deeply nourished, empowered, inspired and experience greater unity mind, body, and soul.  I’m blessed to be married to my best friend and with him home school our two girls and four boys.

Here is a quick practice focusing on Surya Namaskar, Sun Salutaion.  Roll out a mat and give it a whirl.  You’ll finish feeling energized and rejunvenated.
