Thanks to those of you who bought things from my shop!! Thanks for coming by and reading my thoughts, sharing what’s happening around here, looking at the things I feel compelled to make. I really love having this blog, this little place to connect with far away friends and family and a link to other like minded creative or crafty or homeschooling or nature loving or all of the above friends I’ve never actually seen in real life. And so…
I’ve got some gifts for you! I’ve got 2 sets of “the still life project” postcards and 1 (maybe 2) “reach” prints to mail away.
I’ve got a pocket journal I can spare too. The color will have to be a surprise.
Anyway, all you have to do to get one of these seedpod thank you gifts is make a comment on this post. On Thanksgiving morning I’ll close the comments and have my kids help me draw numbers out of a hat, and I’ll post the winners.

I love the whole creating to sell aspect of crafting; it is exciting and fun, but doesn’t it feel wonderful to just give something away. To make something with your hands and give it to someone. Whether you have made it with the recipient in mind or decided afterwards that you want someone to have it, not only do you give them something beautiful but you also give them part of yourself. And that always feel great.

I got my necklace yesterday, and it’s beautiful!!! I showed it to my mom just now, and she loves it too. I’ll comment on Etsy later, but I just wanted you to know how excited I am! I can’t wait to wear it, but I probably should wait until Christmas…. We’ll see.
