Eva has been with us for 2 whole months and I’m tired.  I think I’m the most tired I’ve ever been in my whole life.

But look at that face… that makes it all worth it.

And I have a lot of help.

I love that Jonah has taken to just carrying Eva around and hanging out with her.  It makes me thankful that I homeschool and that my big kids get to be HERE for this babyhood that goes by so fast.  Sometimes the baby is the lesson- a lesson they can only get by being home.

  1. I can see the beauty of not being directed by the school, when and where to be. I think if your kids were at public school Eva would spend half her day being shuttled around in the car instead of being carried around by Jonah.

  2. Oh, Jonah looks just like Barry from the back. I love watching kids love their siblings. You’re right, it makes this homeschooling thing all worth it! Here’s hoping for a nap, or at least a good night’s sleep!

  3. I also thought it was Barry holding Eva! She is a beautiful baby. You are a wonderful Mom and I hope you get some sleep and rest this weekend.

  4. oh my daughter is 3 1/2 months and i’m still tired too! she’s only slept through night once. i wish my son were old enough to carry the new baby around, but he’s only 2 1/2. he sits with her on his lap and tries not to bonk her on the head but he just can’t help it. :o) congratulations and good luck!

  5. Aaahhhh, she is SO precious. If you were closer I would take them all for a day of hiking and let you get some sleep and snuggling in with Eva!

  6. We just have the two and we are mighty tired around here. I’ve often said that it is lucky that they are so cute. And they are. Wishing for more rest for you (and me).
